On the first day of the fair we were particularly nervous because the smarter E Awards ceremony was taking place in the afternoon. The smarter E Europe is Europe's largest energy industry platform and brought together several energy trade fairs for the first time this year. In addition to the solar industry meeting place, these were: EES (for energy storage), Power2Drive (for electromobility) and EM-Power (for energy management). Awards were to be presented under the joint umbrella of all four.
For us as nominated finalists, there was definitely a chance that we would "shoot" the prize. We left the stand to the left and moved to the neighbouring hall in full occupation. Although the time between the start of the event and the beginning of the presentations was understandably short on the clock, these moments seemed eternal to us. But the fact that we were then even the first to receive our honour came as a great surprise to us. #yeah :)
The work has paid off. The industry recognised the achievement. Later, the small start-up was on the winner's logo wall next to the big ones in the industry. That was also a very nice feeling.
